The 2019 World Championship will be hosted on the Krokodilspruit Shooting Range during August 2019.

The Krokodilspruit Shooting Range was the host for the 2009 WBSF center fire benchrest world championship.

Krokodilspruit Shooting Range is located about 30km outside of Pretoria and about 80km from OR Tambo International Airport.

The range is located close to various game lodges, guest houses and spa's with a lot of activities in the area.

Facilities on the range consist of a gun shop, canteen, swimming pool and the 'Smoke Break' - a place to relax next to a bonfire where you can 'braai' (BBQ) and join in conversation with fellow competitors about the days' shooting.

The Krokodilspruit Shooting Range has got 5 shooting ranges, a dedicated 50m air rifle and rimfire range with 30 shooting benches, a 80m range with 12 benches for the hunter who quickly needs to sight-in a scope, a 10-25m handgun range, a shotgun range with clay traps and a world class 25-500m range with 40 shooting benches.




At Krokodilspruit there is various sport shooting disciplines using the range, with the air rifle and rimfire benchresters the biggest group. KBRC is the hosting club at Krokodilspruit organizing all the events. The range is also well known to a lot of hunters who regularly visits the range to test hand loads and sight-in rifles for their upcoming hunts.


The gunshop at the range has all the supplies you need to start shooting, rests, rear bags, cleaning equipment and solvents, ammunition and practice targets. They also stock rifles and scopes and if they do not have stock of whatever you need, it can be ordered from any of their network of suppliers.



During each day food, snacks, hot and cold drinks will be available at the canteen. Basic food that is available daily is hamburgers, boerewors rolls, jaffels with slap chips and on request breakfast is prepared daily. Snacks that is available is chips and chocolate bars. Drinks available at the canteen includes, coffee, tea, purified water and various soft drinks.
